I built a green house for my wife’s birthday. It didn’t cost a lot and it looks awesome. Here are some
Pictures. It is built using 2×4 lumber and cattle panels. The 2×4s make a base and the cattle panels form the roof. The whole thing is covered with plastic. The door is made with an old storm window we had. There are handles that extend out at the base, so it can be moved. To build it, I first made the wood frame, then anchored the cattle panels. To bend the cattle panels while I anchored them to the base, I tied rope between the ends and tightened it until they were just right, then nailed the cattle panel in place. Once the panels were anchored, I built the rear brace, then the door and door frame. I added the beam across the top for stability then anchored the cattle panel to the top beam.

Excellent project! Many thanks for the step-by-step photos. We look forward to using your good instructions to build our own greenhouse.
One question: Could you talk about the plastic – how big, what ml, where you got it, how you wrapped it over the panels and fastened it?
O, and could you describe how you built the table and how it is attached? We are truly novice builders and can use ALL the help we can get.
Thank you!!

The plastic was not precise. I stapled 4 mil plastic over it. It was from a 20foot by 100 foot roll I had. I’ll update the project page at ProjectsBy.us

This is a great design. I have used it with much success. The beauty of it is that you can remove the plastic and use it to grow beautiful vine vegetables. you walk through and just pick till your heart is content.
